"...my research points to the existence of possibly 11 Wandering Marionettes, though my extensive field work has only been able to confirm 5:

A broken porcelain doll. She is the most child-like of all of her companions, alternately shy and troublesome. She carries a doll of her own. Does this remind her of who she once was? Or perhaps who she longs to be? She is like a lost dream...

A puppet whose strings have been cut, she is the only true 'marionette' amongst them. She likes to mirror those she meets and it has been cryptically said that those who look upon her look upon themselves and wonder are we the puppets of our reflections? If that is the case, then i say she is a vision of truth...

A dark patchwork doll whose markings suggests a Voudou or similar magickal origin. As such, he is the most elusive of the group. A beautiful nightmare if there is such a thing. Clearly the group's warrior and protector, but also in many ways their breath or pneuma. Its two-headed form is the most bizarre and out of place amongst its companions. I wonder what demented toymaker might have crafted this one, or if it ever really was anyone's doll...

The shadow of a gentleman caller stepping out of some foggy gaslit Victorian alley. Beneath this cool and urban seeming however, lurks something feral and lupine. A primal and totemic spirit suggesting a much older origin. Perhaps that of some lost and ancient fetish, forever leading this pack on its primordial hunt into the unknown..."
