Our New Home
Goodbye Hollywood and goodbye Hollywood drink prices!
Have we told you how excited we are to be a part of the growing creative community surrounding our new home at the Alexandria? With nearly 30 Art galleries within walking distance there is much to see and much to do and with landmark restraunts and bars throughout the area there is something to suit everyones taste. Come early! Explore! Treat yourself to an entire evening of dinning, entertainment and dance. Early is the new late!!
The Green Room at the Alexandria provides the ideal setting for an evening of Marionette mischief. It's turn of the century rich and warm decor with twenty two foot ceilings (ideal for aerial performance!) and a beautiful wood floor (Made to dance on!) serve to enrich the very essence of the Kabinet Theatere world.
Built in 1906 the landmark Alexandria Hotel was designed by famed architect John Parkinson, whose other prominent projects include Los Angeles City Hall, the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, and Union Station.
Formerly one of the premier hotels in the country, The Alexandria played host to numerous Hollywood legends including Charlie Chaplin, Humphrey Bogart, Mae West, Rudolph Valentino, Clark Gable, and Greta Garbo. Winston Churchill and several U.S. Presidents, including William Taft, Woodrow Wilson, and Theodore Roosevelt, were also guests.
If we appear to be excited to show off our new home and share it with all of our friends, its well, because we are! OH YEAH, IT"S ON!!
